PAUL “FLIPPER” WESTLAKE – MAIN SAIL TRIMMER
Australian, 49 years old.  A sailor who can draw upon his technical skills as a sailmaker and  his management skills as President of Bainbridge, a company that produces spinnaker cloth. He joins the team with experience from 5 America's Cup campaigns,  starting as far back as 1983 up to 2007 , where he was the main sail trimmer for BMW Oracle Racing.  His career includes 8 world titles of which are an Etchell 22 and a World Match Race title together with Peter Gilmour, two Maxi titles – one with Il Moro di Venezia and more recently, Alexia.  In previous seasons he has been main sail trimmer for 100' Maxi Wild Oats, Luna Rossa's STP 65, and Matador's TP52.
